Welcome to the Grampian Repeater Group Website

Grampian Repeater Group maintains the 2m Amateur Radio Repeaters GB3GN (Banchory) and GB3NG (Fraserburgh) located in NE Scotland. The considerable running costs of the repeaters are entirely funded by the membership and donations.

After nearly 40 years of service, Grampian Repeater Group regret to announce that GB3NG closed down on 9th June 2025 at 9am. The landlord's lease on the site will soon expire. We are very grateful for their generosity over many decades. They have given us free use of an excellent site for many years. The committee are actively seeking a new location for GB3NG but it is likely that the repeater will be off air for a considerable period.
